Brice, 88, died Thursday, April 15, 1999. The widow of Ernest Brice, she was a member of Cross Keys Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Lillie Brice J. Johnson of Wayside; half sister and half brother, Dorotha Mixon of Macon and Malloy Adkins of Empire; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Robert Bridges Sr. SOPERTON Services for Robert Paul Bridges Sr. will be at 2 p.m. today in Sammons Funeral Home with burial in Wheeler Cemetery. Bridges, 79, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999.

Born in Washington County, he was the son of the late Lawson and Hattie Mae Bridges. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 405, where he was past master, and was a member of the VFW. He was a member of Soperton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children, Robert Bridges of Mount Vernon, Beth Smith of Dublin and Sue Phillips of Vidalia; sisters and brother, Nola Mae Reynolds and Jeanette Rogers, both of Soperton, Joyce Smith of Adrian and Roy Bridges of Glennville; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Ray Burton AMERICUS Services for Ray Charles Burton will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Barnum Funeral Home with burial in Eastview Cemetery. Burton, 41, died Monday, April 12, 1999. He was a member of American Legion Post 0.536. Survivors include his children, Theodore Caruthers Jr. of Fitzgerald, Vera Caruthers, Lloyd Caruthers Sr. of Philadelphia, and Larry Caruthers, Ronnie Caruthers Reggin Caruthers and Andrea Livingston, all of Fitzgerald; brother, Julius Caruthers of San Francisco; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Born in Griffin, he had lived in Round Oak the past 19 years. He was the son of the late Paul and Mary Connally Clifford. An Air Force veteran he was retired from Frostman Company in Milledgeville. He was a member of East Juliette Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Martha Clifford; children, Buddy Smith and Benjie Clifford, both of Round Oak, Peggy Jackson of Hephzibah and Nancy Hobbs of Lake Sinclair; sisters and brother, Rachel Hasler of Harrisonburg, Claudette Shockley of Columbus and Willis Clifford of Griffin; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Dyce died Saturday, April 10, 1999. Born in Henry County, he was the son of the late Johnnie Dyce. He was formerly employed at Packing Stockyard.

The widow of Cecil Edward Greenway, she was a retired payroll clerk for Washington Electric Membership Corp. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sisters Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Jones of Sandersville; sisters, Mildred McCullough and Eudell Williams, both of Swainsboro; and two grandchildren.

He was a member of the NRA and a member of Gray United Methodist Church. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Survivors include his wife, Martha B.
