Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Grove Baptist Church Number One in Milledgeville. Burial will be in Bone Cemetery. The Rev. E.L.
Lyons will officiate. Mrs. Finsley, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Cynthia Williams of Milledgeville; a brother, Crawford Finney of Milledgeville. Slater's Funeral Home of Milledgeville has charge of arrangements.
Rev. Patterson LITHIA SPRINGS The Rev. J.A. Patterson, 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. Burial was in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Bob Whitmier and Dr.
Miriam Beader officiated. Rev. Patterson was a native of Fulton County. He was the organizer of First Baptist Church in Lithia Springs, Doss Memorial Baptist Church in Powder Springs, and Pinehurst Drive Baptist Church in Dublin. He served as pastor of Powder Springs First Baptist Church and Marie Baptist Church in Dublin.
He retired from preaching full time in 1974. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewell Patterson of Lithia Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Godfrey of Lithia Springs and Mrs. Linda Jones of Birmingham, a son, the Rev.
Max Patterson of Macon; a sister, Mrs. John Beverly of Lithia Springs; three brothers, Roy Patterson of Atlanta, the Rev. C. Edward Patterson of Lithia Springs and T.J. Patterson of Fargo; and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Hartford, a native of East Palistine, Ohio, was a member of Hawkinsville United Methodist Church. She was past worthy matron and former grand choir director of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a retired teacher and organist. Survivors include her husband, Francis C. Hartford of Hawkinsville: four daughters, Mrs.
Lenora Clark of Elberton, Mrs. Carolyn Hight of Elizabethton, Mrs. Linda Cochran of Littleton, Colo. and Mrs. Charles Nelms of Grayson; and nine grandchildren.
